Mom

Don't have much time now, so I'll keep this short.

Rushed home last week to be with my Mom and Sister.

Mom passed away this morning.

Maybe someday I'll be able to tell you all about it.

Prayers, love and light needed

Hey everyone, things going all crazy here in the Chaos.

My Mom is in the hospital in Texas and was moved this morning to CCU.

Lots of decisions to be made as I have surgery scheduled (here in California) on Friday for myself to take care of an issue that raised it's ugly head during my recent physical.

My sister lives there and is with her now, so she is not alone. My Aunt is driving up now from South Texas to help out.  Now I just need to decide when I go, because I WILL go.

Lots of calls are being made, but the waiting for test results and if she is responding or not to treatment is the worst.

Send prayers, good mojo, rays of light, rattle your beads or do whatever you do please.

We all need them...

All I got is Meh.

I should be excited.

This Saturday is "Bruin Day" and we are off to UCLA to wander and tour and talk and meet and greet and buy Bruin stuff.

I am working on an AWESOME jewelry project for a friend.  After a few false starts with the wrong beads, the wrong needles, the wrong thread...I am off and running and it is looking fantastic.  Even if I do say so myself.

With the skills I'm learning from this project, I will finally be able to do justice to my Grandmother's beads - of which I don't remember posting photos.  Hmmmm.

Anyway, I should be excited and all I can do is go Meh.

Too many other things going on and I haven't been sleeping again.

So...

Meh.

U. C. L. A.

Things have been crazy.  Mostly me.

Lots of things going on lately, but the most news-worthy thing that I want to share is:

Spencer was accepted into the Pre-Med Microbiology program at UCLA.

His number one choice.

I am very proud of my son.  So is Grandma M, Auntie L and everyone else who knows him.

Just wish my Dad (Papa B) could see him.  Somehow I know he can.

Did I mention Spencer is also on his high school's baseball team?
